We are now into week 4 and we are now down to 4 winless teams looking for their first win, and 5 unbeaten teams looking to keep it going. Onto this week's games:
Dolphins (3-0) at Bills (3-0)
In this game we have 2 unbeaten teams, 2 division rivals, 2 top scoring offenses as well as 2 stingy defenses, this has the makings of a great game. Both teams are boast balanced offenses to go with their tough defenses, this will be a hard fought game.
Bills win a tough one at home.
Browns (1-2) at Ravens (3-0)
This week it is the Browns turn to face the high powered Ravens team. Will the Browns have enough offense to challenge the #3 scoring defense in the league? Probably not. Can the Browns D stop the #1 scoring offense in the league? Probably not.
Ravens stay unbeaten.
Rams (2-1) at Giants (2-1)
In this game we have two pretty similar teams going at it in New York, where both teams will be looking to stay atop their respective divisions. Both teams have rookie QB's that are playing well, both teams also have good running games. Will the Giants struggle to run without Brandon Jacobs? No, they have complimentary RB's who can handle the workload.
Giants win at home.
Jaguars (0-2) at Cowboys (1-1)
The Jaguars come into this game looking to get way more production from Maurice Jones-Drew in the running game. The Cowboys on the other hand need to get more production from the QB position as well as find some sort of running game to speak of.
Jaguars get their first win.
Chiefs (1-2) at Raiders (0-2)
The Chiefs come into this one with a below average scoring defense, luckily for them the Raiders have no scoring punch at all, last in the league in scoring. Can the Raiders offense find a pulse against a Chiefs team that gives up 36 points a game?
Chiefs win on the road.
Jets (1-2) at Bears (1-2)
The Jets need QB Mark Sanchez and RB Thomas Jones to continue playing well, but they have to stop committing so many turnovers. The Bears need their defense to step up to help out their offensive attack which is lead by QB Jack English, who is #1 in passing yards.
Bears get the win.
Eagles (1-2) at Titans (3-0)
The Eagles will be looking to put up enough points to offset the Titans offense which is #2 in the league in scoring, while continuing to battle key injuries on the offensive side of the ball. The Titans will be looking to keep their offensive rhythm going led by Vince Young and Adrian Peterson.
Titans stay unbeaten.
Vikings (1-2) at Cardinals (1-2)
The Vikings look to make the Cardinals 1 dimensional, either stopping Kurt Warner's passing game, or LeSean McCoy's ground game. The Cardinals need to find a way to stop either QB Eli Manning or RB Chris Johnson. Which team will be successful in forcing their opponent 1 dimensional?
Cardinals win at home.
Seahawks (2-1) at 49ers (1-2)
The Seahawks look to continue their offensive outburst, scoring 34 points each in their last two games. The 49ers need their overall game to get better, they are only scoring 17 ppg while giving up 35 ppg.
Seahawks get the win on the road.
Lions (1-2) at Packers (2-1)
The Lions will need to win the time of possession battle, keep Aaron Rodgers and Darren McFadden on the sidelines, and be productive when they do have the ball. The Packers will be looking to get back on the winning track against a Lions team that gives up 34 ppg.
Packers get the win.
Panthers (2-1) at Falcons (2-1)
Both teams will be looking to jump in the lead of a tight division race.
No prediction for my game.
Redskins (0-3) at Texans (0-3)
In the battle of winless teams, there is some good news and some bad news. The good news is that one team will get their first win, but the bad news is that both teams have terrible defenses. The Texans compound their bad play with an offense that is just as terrible, while the Redskins offense isn't great but is respectable.
Redskins get their first win.
Saints (2-1) at Steelers (2-1)
The Saints can't expect to win alot of games surrendering 41 ppg, it puts too much pressure on Drew Brees and his offense to play perfect every week. The Steelers will look to QB Ben Roethlisberger more now that RB Willie Parker is out for the next 9 weeks.
Steelers win at home.
Broncos (1-2) at Colts (2-0)
The Broncos will need their offense to play well as they head to Indianapolis to face a Colts team that is giving up about 16 ppg. The Colts, coming off of the bye week, are still trying to get their running game on track with Joseph Addai, who is only averaging about 1.5 ypc.
Colts win at home.
That is it for my predictions for week 4, last week I was 8-5 and I am hoping to do the same or even better this week. Good luck gamers.
